camel humps,,,,,

is it true that camels are born without humps...it was a triviual pursuit question but im sure ive seen very young camels WITH humps

They do have humps, but they don't have anything in them. So they are little triangular flaps of skin on their backs, and then as they get filled with fat the humps gradually fill out.
