Cat's Messing in garden

How I can I stop a cat messing in my garden? We have tried pepper sprays etc from the shops but nothing seems to deter it. Do you know of any humane ways to deal with this problem.

You could try using a powerful water pistol, which is also very good for deterring squirrels.

orange peel left in their "usual places" or I have heard that if you leave big empty plastic bottles filled with water [ dont ask me why] this deters them.
There is an ultra sound device that they advertise in the Sunday papers and various magazines that come in the post.
We used a water pistol to scare off a bigger cat that was terrorizing our kitten.

prune your rose bush (if you have one) and plant the cuttings in the areas you need protecting. However unless you want them to grow into new bushes pull them up again in a few weeks by which time the cats should have learned to go elsewhere.
