Chillington, Buckinghamshire

Does anyone know where this place is? It is meant to be a small hamlet/village some where in Buckinghamshire.

If you mean the Chillington which is the location of the home and studios of Mr Jay Kay, I believe it is found in the vicinity of Princes Risborough.

Where has that name come from? As far as I know, he lives at Horsenden Manor just outside Princes Risborough, which is where the link from kempie takes you. There is no village or hamlet of that name there, so unless he`s changed the name of his `house` to Chillington......

There`s a Chillington in Devon and another one in Somerset......

I read about Chillington somewhere & if you type it into Google brings up chillington studios, belonging to Jay Kay, in the small hamlet of Chillington. Thanks Snowy Owl, maybe he has just named the studios that!

His custom-built Chillington Studios make up the rear of the Horsenden Manor (here) and I believe the confusion arises whenever an article incorrectly states "Chillington is a hamlet" instead of "Chillington is in a hamlet".

Thanks kempie...I was beginning to think I`d gone mad! I used to live only 2 miles from Horsenden, and I was in the area for over 30 years and I really thought that I knew all the names around there.

I used to go out with a very lovely girl from Princes Risborough.
Sorry thats not relevant to the question but just thought i would share it with you all!

BTW if you zoom in to Jay Kays house on Google maps from kempies link you can see loads of his posh cars parked all over the front lawn.
