Cat scent mark smell - Pet Fresh (Urine-Off) product - does it work?

We've discovered our cats have been scent marking a new chest of drawers we bought. We have got rid of the drawers but the carpet smells absolutely awful and we can't afford to buy a new one. I've read that conventional cleaners won't eradicate the smell completely, just mask it, and that makes the cats want to top the scent up.

After searching for info on the web, we have found a product called Pet Fresh (also known as Urine-Off) which claims to get rid of the smell.

It costs �18.45 for a 500ml bottle - much cheaper than a new carpet - but I would love to know if anyone has used this product and if it is effective before parting with our money.

havn,t used product you were asking about but i use 'SIMPLE' solution,from major pet stores. i have a multiple cat house and it works every time! price is about a fiver.
