Flat-coated retrievers

Anybody know anythig about flat-coats? I have always had Labs and Goldens and I love them but one thing I hate is their obsession with food and eating everything.Are flat-coats the same?

I too have a lab who is always begging for food and taking food from our other little pup. I have no personal experience with flat-coats but am 95% sure that they r exactly the same as non flat-coats

Short answer is YES, my friends eats anything, paper, socks, and tissues, scours the work units for food, everything has to be put in high cupboards out of her way. Saying that, one of hers ate well but was not a thief!
