My cat is vomiting after his brekkie
12 Answers
After his Felix yesterday morning my cat brought it all up. Ugh. So I gave him some nice white fish instead and he was OK for the rest of the day. This morning I gave him some more white fish and he started that awful coughing sound when they try to be sick. Could it be a fur ball? He seems absolutely fine apart from that. I will give him some olive oil on his next meal, in case it is a fur ball, anyway. Thanks everyone.

He would eat well and be content and then ooopps there it is again, and it did not look very well digested. I tried the white fish and rice too, but he was well enough to pick the fish from the rice and spit the rice out on the floor. I was quite concerned as to the cause, but he was then fine. I put Sooty's down to a furball and now give him some furball food to make sure he is not like it again. Sorry waffleing on to myself. I would say it is a furball that he can't shift.
I thought that cats were supposed to be dainty eaters.
My George was, he licked the jelly off the meat and left the meat to dry out and then ate his Iams.
He wasn't at all dainty at anything else. He used to roll over on my bed and land on the floor, fall down the stairs etc He was a weird cat and I miss him loads.

wolf, that made me laugh, tho it is sad really. My cat is a biter, he looks at me with his mad eyes and ears back, no other warning like spitting, and then lunges and bites my arm or face, if he's behind me, I don't see the mad eyes and can't prepare for the lunge, and he bites my behind, his claws are like injections in my thighs at the same time. Honest. Can't do anything about it, he's just a big mad ginger moggy. Not a lap cat unfortunately.
smurfchops - realistically if a dog did that there would be much media attention. Cats are evil psychos and we put up with them.
The noise of a fur ball being hacked up is horrendous. I have been a couple of months without a cat since George died. I am getting to like not having to put the light on when off for a pee during the night. George was mostly black and would be waiting at the top of the stairs to pounce on me as I passed, it really woke me up.
I have 'workmen' in next week and after this I hope to get another psychopathic murderous monster from the local Cats Protection.
Is your cat ever loving, apart from when he wants something.

Oops sorry. As I say, nope, he always follows me around, every time I get off the sofa, or every time I let him in, but only for food, food, food, and No he doesn't have worms, or fleas for that matter, I spend a fortune on him. Anyway, I'm now putting him out in the rain and am going out for a nice Italian, ( am meal I mean, not a man) so will finish conversation tomorrow !
