The leaves are the only thing that koala bears eat so they would go hungry in the winter if it dropped it's leaves .If you are thinking of planting one be careful where you plant it as they grow like rockets and can reach quite a height in a short time

Here's a few. You can include Laurel & Holly because it's only certain varieties that are bushy, in the wild they both grow to very large trees. Evergreen Oak, Arbor Vitae, Soaptree Yucca, Palm Yucca, Mountain Mahogany, Banana, Yew, Bay, some Beech, Canadian Hemlock, Ground Hemlock, Mountain Aloe, False Olive, Wild Olive, Sagewood, Mountain Cabbage Tree, Bladdernut, Crossberry, Wild Peach, Common Spike Thorn, Dogwood, Karee, Kuni, Knobwood, Common Boxwood, some Magnolias.
