Hello,
I have a new (less than 3 month old) toilet which frequently fails to stop filling causing water to go into the white internal overflow pipe and trickle into the bowl. This wastes water and despite playing and pushing everything a lay person can play and push it still does it at least once a day.
It is not a ball tiolet you can simply bend the ball, but it is pretty much similar to that shown on the link below:
http://www.toiletology.com/troubles.shtml I have tried adjusting the height to no avail. and adjusting the height of the link which pushes the lever up.
The trouble is even if you hold the lever up as much as it will go, water will still drip out until it overflows. Sometimes it shuts off properly sometimes not.
The only other thing to mention is that the refil tube is missing (there is a space for one, but it was missing from day one. I don't know when it does).
How do these plastic things work and how can you fix it?
Thanks
