Gelda, thanks for the reply. What she seemed in essence to be doing was foraging, something a canary I have does all the time. Last night I totally cleaned out and refurnished her cage, I left her to it, [she is in a sepearate room to where I spend most of my time]. Checking on her later, and then again this morning, She seems to have "perked up" and is back in her usual perched position, I heard her whistle earlier, so I shall keep an eye on her. The last time I took a Budgie to the vet, [seemed to have a lump under his undercarriage] and was wobbling around like a kelly, the vet said to leave him and let him die naturally as there was nothing he could do. I brought him home, opened the cage, and he sat at the cage door and did the most enormous "movement", and had a good fly around the room. He lived another 12 months and passed away suddenly. Things look brighter today, thanks.
