Cat scratching Post.

My puss Quirky has almost completely worn away his , (what looks like cork bark but must be harder) scratching post. He doesn't like the sisal string ones! Where can I get a replacement.? Please.

How about finding a piece of tree trunk and introducing that to your cat as a scratching post? After all, bark and trees are the 'original and best' for cats -especially as he doesn't like carpet posts... Good luck.

Yes, thanks for taking the trouble to reply. It's just that the one I originallly bought was a half log, VERY firmly glued onto a narrow board with upright fixing option and a "texture" he found irresistable.
Not wishing to sound a fuss pot; it's just that a thought they may still be freely available somewhere. And yes, I could go the D.I.Y. route but thought I'd try out this new (to me) web site. Thanks!
