It is not a proper lurcher, the original lurcher is a cross between a greyhound and a collie, although any sighthound cross tends to be called a lurcher these days.

Of course we must bow to lankeelas superior knowledge ...but there is also something called a "Longdog" . A greyhound crossed with a whippet

A greyhound cross whippet is classed as a longdog.

A longdog is a cross between two sighthounds.

Therefore a cross between a greyhound and a whippet is called a grew
