whats the insect possibly frog noise in the caribean?

your probably thinking of chicada's - can't spell it sorry. almost the same as our crickets.

Cicadas make a continuous 'scree' sound in the same way as grasshoppers do - by rubbing their legs on their wing-cases. But they only do this during daytime.
Crickets chirp. Caribbean tree frogs whistle and make 'peep' noises. Listen to a 50 second recording here
