My two 'female' rabbits, aged six months have managed to produce babies (born Christmas or Boxing Day).

I have found who is 'daddy' and have removed him from mum and the kids.. What do I do now?

thanks for that site link - really informative...
we had this problem a few years ago. The male rabbit was neutered successfully so we were able to keep them together. there is a slight risk though as smaller animals dont always respond well to the anaesthetic .

thanks for that too - that was one of the options given by our vet but we do not have room to keep him separate for the recovery time (he was in an indoor hutch thing lent by our petshop for three days and looked totally fed up).

A friend offered 'Dad' a home, so he went yesterday. It was nice to know he's gone to a good home and we'll be able to see him still.

We have two babies - waiting to see what sex they are and then we'll decide what to do - don't want mum to be alone..
