Heat issue part 2

My yellow male is AKC Lab abd both have been checked for eyes, hip, and a few other test I had my Vet do. I know to keep them serperate as I have dog pants/diapers on her and they go outside seperately now that she is in heat. I put that thing on her soon as I noticed the blood drops on my floor at 3AM 3 days ago. The mounting part was done prior to that but only by her head that is why I was laughing. Thought he should have know by now how to. They have seperate crates and have had them since I got them. They play tug of war still but other than that he doesn't want anything to do with her while she has the diaper on, pants whatever it is called with a sanitary pad on it . I prepared myself before she came into heat.
