Training bunny as house rabbit

Right ive got a 12 week old female mini lop and shes quite a big rabbit (even though the name mini heh) anyways she hates being outside, and i really want to have her as a house rabbit. Firstly i was wondering, could i do this as in treat her as if she was a cat - bowl of water, bowl of food, small material dog/cat bed with a roof on it kinda thing and a litter tray? any advice be great!

Yes it's possible, however I'd be far more worried about all the wiring in which ever room your bunny will be kept in, than poo or wee.

However if the thought of your television blowing up (lol) doesn't worry ya, I found this :-)

Hi, as Boo says, it is possible to keep a bunny indoors [there are tonnes of sites dedicated to it...just Google]. Can I ask a question though? How do you know she doesn't like to be outside?

We have 2 indoor rabbits (one male one female) and training them to be indoor rabbits is a piece of cake.
You will need one bowl for food (alfalfa ,etc.) veggies can be put directly on the floor, one bowl for water(rabbits rather drink from bowl than the drip system and once you have found out where they go when they need a toilet just put there a litter tray and in it put some of the wee and poo the rabbit had done previous.
In no time you will have an indoor rabbit
; the only problem is that like humans the like company, so another rabbit would be a good idea.
Just make sure that electric cables are unreachable. ie by protecting them with white electrical conduit.

Boo - Cheers for that site yeah i have taken into consideration about the wires and itwill be fine! That site was very interesting and helpful to read and taught me a thing or 2 :)

divegirl - Cheers for your answer. Well, when i first got her she had to be kept inside as i only had a cage at the time...and she was really chirpy and happy but since getting her a hutch and putting her outside she has just been really miserable and jumpy and when i do let her in the house for a hop around as the garden isnt secure - there is problems getting her to go back outside hehe!x

ernestoba - thankyou for your answer! i didnt realise they prefered water from a bowl than a bottle?!! I do actually have another 2 rabbits, one male and one female, might be worth getting the male neutered so they can be together? cheers :)
