Anbody got frogspawn yet?

My first batch appeared today. This is about 3 weeks earlier than last year but I've only seen 3 frogs in the pond so far. Last year it was heaving with them so did last year's heatwave kill a lot of them off?

Yep, got my first lot of spawn on monday. Pretty much the same time as usual.

The July heatwave which parched everything in our garden. And as we had a hosepipe ban, I had to keep watering the shady areas with a watering can to provide some damp places to keep the slugs alive so that the frogs could feed on them.

No frog spawn yet but have caught three frogs trampolining on the netting over my pond. Transfered to a local pond and hoping they take the hint, but they are definatly early this year.

No frogs or spawn seen yet, they usually arrive en masse on the first rainy night in march in my garden but thats a good reminder to take my leaf nets off tomorrow. Thanks.
