Mouse poison - how to clean up?
4 Answers
I'm just about to move house and when I went to the new property yesterday to clean it before moving in, I found little heaps of blue poison pellets in the corners of some of the walk-in cupboards downstairs. The bait was not even contained in little boxes.
I have 2 cats and am worried. How do I effectively clean up the mouse bait leaving no trace of poison? The previous tenants probably dragged various boxes etc across the bait when they were moving out, so everywhere could be contaminated. Help!!

Just relax, its no big deal, just thoroughly clean up and all will be fine. ( Ex Pest controller of 13 years)
Thanks Ratter15!
Well I carefully swept up all the pellets (also found a tiny bowl of grain in the bathroom in one corner) and hired a carpet cleaning machine for the day as the carpets could do with a clean anyway.
My cats are still kittens and apart from being fab pets, they are worth a few bob too. As they are so young still, they do tend to poke their noses into places that they shouldn't.
Feeling much happier about the whole thing now. Thanks so much :-)
