Build up on cat litter tray

Although I empty the tray regularly, there appears to be a build up in the corner where my cat pees. it doesn't seem to budge, even with scrubbing with a brush and disinfectant. Does anyone have a way of getting rid of this?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.hi i have hijacked my mam's site! i use wood cat litter pellets,u can get them from asda and pets at home.when you empty the tray the whole lot comes away and you dont even need to wash the tray as the pellets break down into a sort of sawdust and prevent anything hitting the tray itself,plus the smell is a lot less pungent,i would buy a new tray first tho as it sounds like your old one is beyond help!
