has anyone been to monkey world in dorset i just wondered if anyone of you have as my wife wants to go there as she has seen it on animal planet but i dont fancy driving all the way to dorset from stoke if its no good.thanks in anticipation...

Never been there, but seen the TV program.

Let your wife know that the man who ran it, Jim Cronin, died on March 17th which is rather upsetting as he seemed such a nice person.

There is plenty else to see round there, why not make a long weekend of it.

Have taken the kids there a couple of times whilst on holiday in that neck of the woods. Worth a visit but I wouldn't travel all the way there as the soul purpose of my visit!

Monkey world is fab and just over the road is the tank museum at bovington. Go for it .

We went couple of years ago and enjoyed it, it is wonderful the way the monkeys are treated. Hope you enjoy your visit.
