bullying cats !

my cat is being bullied and is too scared to go outside now, he will go outside if we are with him . But this cat has frightened him so much that he wet himself through sheer fright . Any suggestions to frighten this other cat away from our garden?

had the same problem. this cat would even sit outside our glazed front door and rear up at our cat! bought one of those powerful plastic garden spray things from wilko's. put it on jet and have got close enough to shoot him a few times, right in the face. doesn't come calling anymore.
this is not wicked, as our cat has a heart condition, but can't resist a fight, which he always lose's and has to stay in bed for a couple of days to get it back together.

Yes I did the same ,It worked after three times and my two old lads have had some peace at long last.I felt sorry for the bully boy but my two old darlings needed some respite from the naughty boy.

Spraying it with water seems like a good idea. I've had this problem a few times with my cat. At this one house I lived in, the neighbor's cat would get in our house through a hole in the floor in the bathroom (it was a very old adobe house. We did eventually fix the hole) and beat up my cat in his own home. Not cool! So one day, the neighbor's cat got in the house while I was not home. However, my pitt bull just happened to be inside and he liked our cat. I sure you can guess what happened. We didn't have any problems after that. LOL.
In this other neighborhood we lived in, our cat along with every other cat on our block was being bullied by a cat that looked exactly like ours. The neighbors were all mad at us because they thought our cat was beating up their cats. We tried spraying it with water, but that didn't work too well. So all the cats in the neighborhood just had to deal with it. Fortunately, the bully cat just dissappeared one day. I think one of the neighbors probably shot it.
So I guess I don't have a good answer for you. Sorry. Good luck.

buy a child's water pistol, it works, after a few squirts it wont come back.
I hope your cat is okay, it used to happen to one of my cats and his little heart used to go boom boom he was so scared.
