Any of the green vegies is good for them. Just a little bit. I have found that the stalk bits are stripped to threads amongst great delight.
Sunflower seeds. Don't feed dry without them working for it. A tabble tennis ball with a couple of holes drilled in it just big enough to pass the seeds thru, stick a few in and when they are used to the ball (you may wish to waterpaint it green in the beginning) they'll play for ages as long as they can still hear that there is seed left in it. If yours are destructive sods like mine you need to use a stronger recepticle. I use a small piece of PVC pipe with the ends glued closed.
Soak a dozen seeds or so per bird for 24 hours and leave untill JUST sprouting - rinsing thoroughly every day. You can have 3 or 4 containers going continuously so you have some every day.
A small piece of carrot hung from a string will have them performing acrobatics to get to it.
Lovebirds are very playful/active birds because in the wild they have to work hard to find their tucker. You need to device all sorts of way to keep them active. There is nothing sadder than a listless bird sleeping all day 'cause it is too fat to enjoy life.
