Pheremones[totally wrong spelling] for travel!
4 Answers
Hi, My vet has just offered me some of the above....not gonna try to spell it again, to help calm my Dane puppy on her journey to her new home...only two more sleeps [I can't wait]!!!!! Apparently this will mimic a smell given off by mum and works to calm dogs of any age. Having never travelled any distance with any of my dogs I just wanted to make the experience as stress free as possible for her. Any one ever used anything like this?

Find out from where you are getting her whether she has done much (or any) travelling. Apart from a bit of car sickness if she is not used to travelling, I wouldn't think there will be much of a problem. Ensure someone can travel in the back with her if possible to keep her steady and stop her from trying to jump around. Keep her on a lead so you have something to hold on to, particularly for when you arrive at your home and open the car door. She maybe either reluctant to get out, or the opposite, and leap out before you are prepared, but if she is on a lead you have half a prayer!
Good luck and hope you can sleep.
