The following are cryptic clues to Bristish flora & Fauna. 1) March for work changes start point (6). 2) Rouse feline-its that simple (9). 3) Cut liquid without a tail? It is! (4,10).

During the depression, in 1936 a group of men and their MP, Ellen Wilkinson, marched from Jarrow in the North East to London to demand jobs. (They made no difference, but have passed into folk lore. See http://www.bbc.co.uk/history/society_culture/prote

). Solarbears has taken 'Jarrow' [March for work] and changed the first letter.
I think (2) is probably a kittywake - a breed of seagull?
