any abers own one of these beauties, watched dog borstal last night and just wanted one yet again, previously saw them at crufts, thinking about getting one, can anyone one tell me the positives and the negatives about getting one!

(Just try picking one up when he throws himself on the ground!)

Contact a breeder and ask if you can visit them - you will then be able to see first hand how they cope with all the hair and slobber, having to clean the walls several times a day and how much mud they can bring in. You will also be able to see what its like not being able to sit on the settee because the dog is taking up all the room, and they will be able to tell you lots more reasons for not having one - plus several reasons for getting one if you feel you can cope!
