My wife and myself want to go to France for a week. We usually take our dog but we are thinking of a pet sitter. My mrs wont let him go in to kennels so Im wondering if anyone of you have ever had an experienced dog sitter and if so do they stay in the house at night with the pet? Cheers.

This company has an excellent reputation - a friend of mine has used them for several years without a problem.

As you will see on the website, the sitter moves in to your house, and is only permitted to leave for a maximum of 3 hours per day - and that must be during daylight hours.

It means your garden is looked after, your post taken in, and you are not leaving your house empty.
I have heard good reports from safe hands
