Hello Vinny darling!
Yes, it is wonderful news and I'm hoping to see them some time.

To bring you up to date a lady Bustard has laid a couple of eggs this spring, but naturally the whereabouts is a closely guarded secret. It does look as though they might be infertile ,but still encouraging as they are obviously settling down in their new habitat - despite the boys in tanks all around them!

Wasn't there a similar attempt some 20 odd years ago? That sort of fizzled out into nothing in the end. Hope this time is a success....... though I wonder if some certain nationalities recently come to Britain who consider a 50lb carp a delicacy and have nicked a lot will consider the Bustard a similar delicacy!!
