Problem with 4 month old female kitten

My kitten Jelly uses the cat litter tray perfectly for doing poos but she has started weeing on my mums bed. She drinks plenty of water and is eating properly (cat biscuits and whiskers kitten food), she has had all her first jabs and hardly goes out. There are 2 other cats in the house but they get along fine absolutely no problems. Please can i have some advice. Thanks

This sounds the same one of our kittens, she will use the litter box fine but when she is up stairs she will just wee and poo in my room, apparently, when they can smell they have been somewhere once they will keep going there until the scent is gone. White vinegar is great for on the carpet where they have weed/pood and make sure u wash ur bed clothes in biological washing powder to completely rid the smell so then the kitten shouldnt go there again. Hope this helps :)

Thanks that really helps my mum will wash the sheet and she has to throw away the duvet

If there are two other cats in the house try having at least one more litter tray - perhaps on an upstairs landing. Cats can be fussy about sharing a litter tray and will sometimes find somewhere else to go.

Also, don't forget that kittens, like babies need to wee more often and sometimes can't hold on to their wee quite as long.
