Hello, i am 16 years old and i am looking for somewhere in Leicestershire for myself and some friends to camp out and have a night under the stars. Trouble is, that there doesnt appear to be any public land around my town that allows me to camp there! We would go to a campsite but we need an over 18 to camp with us!

I know this might not really be in the right category but i realllllly hope someone can help!

Thanks!

Phone a few local farmers and ask them!
In the Uk it's registered camp sites only unless you have permision from a private land owner.

I agree with RATTER, it can't hurt to politely ask a few local farmers etc.
As Ratter and Tbird have said, try phoning a few farmers, its what I and a couple of friends used to do, you'd be surprised at how co-operative most are.
Have you tried Canal St. in Manchester, I believe there is quite a lot of 'camp' goings-on there
