mosquito splattered!

My husband swatted a mosquito this morning that we found buzzing in between the curtains which must've got stuck. Anyway, this mozzy was massive and when he killed it there was loads of red blood. I was just wondering - could this have been our blood that it had sucked in the night?

I guarantee if it had been in my house the blood would have been mine, the little sods bypass everyone to have a
go at me. We have a stream at the bottom of the garden and our neighbour has a fish pond in his garden, i've tried
all kinds of deterants even the ultrasonic ones but the little ******* still get to me.
