Food portions for 15wk old kitten

Can anyone inform me on how much food a kitten of 15wks should consume in a day? My flatmate's eats half sachet at night plus biscuits and sometimes more sachet and then more biscuits in the morning and poo's approx. 3-4times daily!

i woud probly give it a roast parsnip soup to start, followed by mabey a lasagne, or penne arribia, an dthen to finish mabey just 1 spoon of ice cream.....

kittens usually need 3-4 small meals a day until they are about 6 months old.
you may need to ensure more food is available during the day as well.

amount of poos sound about right!!

Heya i totally agree with pingping, we have 4 kittens aged 16 weeks and feed them 3-4 times a day along with plenty of treats! On the back of the pouches it says you are meant to feed them 3-4 of those a day but of course you can only feed the kitten as much as he/she will eat! I usually make sure dry food is always accesible through out the day as kittens have small tummys so need to eat little but often. Hope this helps :)

always remember my vet telling me yonks ago that you should feed a puppy more or less on demand, so assume kittens are the same. As they are eating little and often, they will lots of poos too!

My husband forgets what puppies do and everytime we have a new puppy in the house he calls them 'poo machines'!
