On bonsaikitten.com it features cats grown in glass jars. I'm quite distured by this idea. Is it real? Has any one tried it? Would it work with humans?

Yes it's real. They have been popular in Japan for centuries but they were introduced into the UK in the early 1970s when Michael Aspel gave some to his children.
Dunno about humans - but it might work with Yucca plants.
That is just sick and cruel!
It's an internet spoof.
