Has anyone got a Sunbeam electric frying pan lurking in their cupboards which they no longer use. I am desperate to find a spare lead/cable for mine as it has just broken and they no longer manufacture the item.

I used to have one many moons ago. As I recall, the cable was a three-pin type similar to the ones found on electric kettles and even computers these days. Available almost anywhere. Have you tried your computer cable? It may not fit, but worth a try.
Mazzer, it is just possible I might still have mine in the loft, can't get up there 'til the weekend though, watch this space.
Mazzer if you look on eBay often enough, eventually you will find one on there :)
The "In a Stew" column in the Daily Telegraph, food and drink section may be of help- they often manage to sort out "how to find" queries. Good luck!
