Get her to the vet in the morning! Is she spayed? If so, it could be related. Any case of a swollen abdomen (animal or human) needs investigating. Good luck & keep us informed, won't you? K
I second Kleiber! She knows her stuff. Your post definitely raised alarm bells for me, she needs to get to the vet ASAP. I know it's easy to put it off, but it could be a whole range of things, from minor to major. Let us know the outcome.
hi like the other 2 to the vets asap, if she is not spayed then she might have what my dog had 2 weeks ago. my samoyed had a infection in the womb it was filled with muck, if we hadnt taken her the day we did then we would have lost her. the signs were not eating and drinking loads then wetting all the time. her kidneys started to fail but luckerly shes fine now, now i know why people always say if you dont breed then spay, we had never bred her, and if i had her spayed then it would only have cost me 300 and not 800, and we didnt have insurance.
Thanks for the compliment, leelapops! I hope the little dog is OK - we haven't heard from pentrgethin. Pentr - if you read this, please let us know how she is - you know we're all complete animal nuts on here! K x

hi sorry she's ok been to the vets she went yersterday to have stiches removed from an op on her neck. he noticed the change in her within a wk and shes going in tomorrow for him to investigate he gave her jabs he thinks it could be her liver !!!!!!!!!!! dont look good!!!!!!!!!!
Aw, bless! Thanks for keeping us updated, though. I do hope she's OK. Did the vet say what it might be with her liver? Don't get too het up - it could be something that's perfectly cureable - the liver is a wonderful organ & pretty tough! (When you think of what we humans put ours through, they've got to be!!) Good luck & keep us posted, won't you? K x
