I would think it was a more instinctive thing for them than a pleasurable one.

Apparently, the only animals that have sex for pleasure are humans and dolphins. (or humans with dolphins?? I dunno)

Some of the bigger parrots simulate copulation as a pair bonding act, it is not proper mating though, no semen is transferred.

Lovebirds, and no doubt some other birds, take a long time to mate - some as long as 5 minutes. Whether they actually enjoy it or not I can't tell for sure but after a while the c0ck sort of half closes his eyes so it certainly looks like he is. This only happens prior to egg laying though.
