Kitten licking!
8 Answers
Hi all!
My kitten Jessie is now 3 months old. She is absolutey adorable, litter trained, very playful and cuddly. I love her to bits!!! lol Anyway, I have a small question. I have allowed her in the bedroom at night for a while, and she's taken to lick my face (especially my nose and mouth!) at 6.25am EVERY morning....Now, it's ok during the week as it's the time I wake up, but she also does it week end! Argh! It's not because she's hungry, because if I gently push her away and pet her, she would go back to sleep. How can she know what time it is???? And why is she doing it? It's lovely, not complaining, but I'm curious! Have I got myself a little furry alarm clock?? lol

One dog, who I dont have any more, obviously having watched me press the snooze button, used to try and make the alarm go off at the weekend by putting her nose where the snooze button was, then she used to put her nose in my eyes, maybe to see if I was still alive!

It is strange that animals supposely know what time it is! i set my alarm at 6:30 for every morning and the first thing i do when i wake up is feed my cat now my cat miaows at me to wake up every morning a few minutes before my alarm is due to go off!
first of all i found it quite annoying so i shut my door before i went to sleep but he continued to miaow outside my door! I think somehow animals pick up on their owners routines and if we're not doing what we're supposed to do then they make sure we do do it! xx
