Hi all!
My kitten Jessie is now 3 months old. She is absolutey adorable, litter trained, very playful and cuddly. I love her to bits!!! lol Anyway, I have a small question. I have allowed her in the bedroom at night for a while, and she's taken to lick my face (especially my nose and mouth!) at 6.25am EVERY morning....Now, it's ok during the week as it's the time I wake up, but she also does it week end! Argh! It's not because she's hungry, because if I gently push her away and pet her, she would go back to sleep. How can she know what time it is???? And why is she doing it? It's lovely, not complaining, but I'm curious! Have I got myself a little furry alarm clock?? lol

A baby furry alarm clock - how cute.

My furry alarm goes off two or three times per night.

The best thing to do is to ignore her - how you are supposed to do that I have yet to discover.

well if you find out the answer let us know, as i got three of them. No risk for the wicked, they know the routine, get up, have breakfast, get dressed and out for a walk, whatever the weather, and whatever day it is.

One dog, who I dont have any more, obviously having watched me press the snooze button, used to try and make the alarm go off at the weekend by putting her nose where the snooze button was, then she used to put her nose in my eyes, maybe to see if I was still alive!
It is strange that animals supposely know what time it is! i set my alarm at 6:30 for every morning and the first thing i do when i wake up is feed my cat now my cat miaows at me to wake up every morning a few minutes before my alarm is due to go off!
first of all i found it quite annoying so i shut my door before i went to sleep but he continued to miaow outside my door! I think somehow animals pick up on their owners routines and if we're not doing what we're supposed to do then they make sure we do do it! xx
Yep - you've got a little, furry alarm clock!! Welcome to the world of the sleepless cat-owner!!! (My lot wake me at 6.30 every morning & have absolutely NO respect for weekends, either!! I love them all!!) K xxx
Must be a cat conspiracy! My old lady, Florence, wakes me up usually by yelling in my ear around 6am every day including weekends. Mind you she often tries the same trick at 4am but I'm not having that!
Your Jessie sounds absolutely adorable max!
