pasta, i give my dog pasta and vegetables every evening and mornings he has a tin of pup food
Working dog food is high in carbohydrates, as working dogs need a lot of energy. You can get it from your local farmers store, if you've got one, or a large garden centre might do it. Another bonus is, it's VAT free!!
sweet potato and pasta (I have recently read on another forum that if pasta is given to dogs it should be 'al dente', rather than overcooked and soft), can I ask the reason he needs more carbohydrates?
I give my pup rice pudding, chicken risotto, home made wholemeal bread with linseeds, weetabix, potatoes and pasta. Sigh, all those carbs, I'm definitely coming back as a mastiff.
