Cat posioned??
26 Answers
My cat has just come in and puked up twice, I notice a rather chewed up mouse in the sick? Any chance she has been poisoned as I did notice a van labelled animal welfare or something next door yesterday, and I thought she looked like a pest woman. Neighbour isnt in so I havent been able to ask her. Should I just get Giz to the vets or ...well I dont really know?

Pardon me for being blunt but why have you not taken your cat to the vet yet? Even a little bit of rat/mouse poison can irreparably damage your cat's kidneys.

Shes gone to the vets now. It was the middle of the night and I dont drive and the kids were in bed but I ended up calling my friend to take her ten minutes after her posting this. I also spoke to my neighbour and it was a pest control vehicle and she was having MORE traps laid, she's very embarressed at not telling me, she didnt think about my cat but GIz is hunter.
It's been one thing after the other with her. She got shot with air gun several times in the spring, I am starting to wonder whether she would be happier and safer at my mums farm.

Oh dear, Goodsoul. I hope puss will be OK. I must admit I would be feeling like you about sending Giz to your Mum's farm. I must admit if I was laying any poison bait the first people I would warn would be my neighbours. I even tell them when I am going to put any path weedkiller down

I posted about her on another thread. She was given emetics through the early hours of yesterday morning to stop any more poison entering her system. The vet said it was a good thing she had been sick on her own. She was very lazy yesterday so she stayed in overnight. I have to phone back this afternoon and hopefully I can go and get her.
She seems to be rattling through her 9 lives at a rate of knotts, this year.

But only nasty to you Lucy Thomas. You spend your time going round this site picking on people's spelling and typing errors and then contribute to threads such as this adding vindictive comments where there is no need for your imput.
You do sound and behave like a truly nasty person Lucy, and yes you are boring.
If you can't take it, then don't dole it out.
