You've confused me, Rosie! After providing the answer above, I scrolled on down the page only to find that someone else had already asked this question and been provided with an answer...which you obviously saw!

I wrote "okta (one eighth of the sky)" here yesterday before anybody else, but it has now disappeared. Or is it the same qquestion twice?
5 questions below this one on the main page you will find the one you answered, Bernardo. I didn't see it before I answered this one, since I obviously came upon this one first. As I explained in my second response above above - I then scrolled down only to find the earlier version. It seems the whole procedure confused you as much as it did me.

It would seem that Redrosie posted this version of the question before she, too, scrolled down only to find it had been asked and answered - by your good self - already. I happily concede that you answered it before I did, only I didn't know that!

U LOOK UP!(well @ least thats the simple answer)but if your talkin all ova the world, most weather stations either have a satilite up in space or have contact with someone who runs a satilite, that person will send the pictures digitally to the weather staions
