We have got Voles in our garden and they have wrecked our lawn, they have already dug about twenty holes and we have got big mounds of earth everywhere!!! little *******!! we have bought a garden vibtater? i think they like it ??? cos they are still ere. Has anyone any ideas how to get rid of them ( we know that you can dig up your lawn and diig tunnels but there must be an easier way) any info would be much appreciated
This works at my son-in- laws caravan site. Large pop bottle turn upside down [empty of course] put a garden cane into the nect and stick the cane into the lawn. They definitely do not like vibrations so as the wind blows vibration occurs and they go else where. Try it and no harm is done to the voles.Good Luck .
We had one for a year or so - until our cat bought him in and laid him out neatly on our kitchen floor. It was so cute, but very dead.......I quite miss him now!
cetti, I naturally thought it was a typo too, but lower on LOX makes another reference to "We wont be using a vole trap-coul"...
I have no idea where LOX hangs out. Canada for instance, have winters where the snow stays on the lawns for months at the time and voles can make a real mess of it in their tunnels under the snow.
Hi all, they are deffinatly VOLES we actually caught two on top of the netting on the fish pond early one morning during the summer. We thought at first that they were moles but having looked at various websights and contacting the previous owners they are deffinatly VOLES, ps No I dont live in Canada, we live in the countryside of South Yorkshire and I am Female..Thanx for all your suggestions
