please help!! an 80s tv programme

i wonder if anyone can help me, after watching the x factor and seeing rhydian, he got me thinking of a childrens tv programme i used to watch. it was in groups where they would go into a lift and a guy would give then instructions for the different levels, he was on a screen with wierd plastic hair, n each level on the lift would have them doing crazy things, 1 thing i can remember is there being a big cereal bowl n they would have to swim around finding letters at the bottom amongst cereal pieces. i really cant remember what is was called but rhydian reminded me of the guy on the screen in the lift. cheers

I saw X factor for the first time last night and I thought Rhydian was the spitting image of either Alan or John from Thunderbirds

Caan't watch X Factor but I have seen pics of who you mean. He reminds me of the bloke from "This Island Earth" or Alan tracy from "thunderbirds" with that hair!

thankyou sooooooooooooooo much guys its been buggin me for ages lol, ur rite tho the thunderbirds crew look similar to him too. whatever posessed then to change his hair colour to platinum anyway :-)
