How bloody tragic

Yesterday our area was hit by severe storms.
A lady and her 2 daughters were killed instantly in a car accident.
Her husband/their dad was told at the school where he works.
How will he find the will to live ? His life is a void now.
How can you digest that news? It beggars belief.
Yet again I am counting my blessings -but for how long -how easy it is to forget.I am guilty as charged but this is almost incomprehesible.Poor souls.
Its true - theres always someone worse off than yourself.

That's truly awful for him. To lose so many in one go. It's the shock - complete and total shock - and the fact that he couldn't say goodbye. I'm wiping tears off my cheeks, Drisgirl. Do you know these people?

Oh my word Dris, that is heartbreaking. He must be in bits. Puts my life in a ****load of perspective. How we moan and whinge sometimes about such petty things (guilty as!), when people genuinely suffer every second of every minute of every hour.

The unfairness of it all makes me so mad! And it makes me so ashamed. x

No I didnt know them but its the main story up here.The family were from the Bromley area but moved up to Johnshaven 10yrs ago for his work.

I cant get my head round your family being wiped out in one fell swoop -that poor poor man.

I read about that this morning. It's really, really sad. I just hope he's got a lot of good people around him at the moment helping him through.
