It is quite usual for a pet bird to lay an egg or two, it just means that they are happy. If she has laid it in the corner of the cage just leave it, she may lay another and sit on it/them for a couple of days. Be a bit careful of with her for the moment as she may be a bit aggressive.

Oh and please, it is a Hahn's macaw, not hans.
Its a girl, she may lay another soon or it may never happen again. If she starts laying more and more then you need to get some help from an expert and find out why she is doing it. Give her a bit more calcium in her diet for the time being.
My friends mum has macaws and they started breeding years ago, at a guess when they were about 6 cos they are over 30 now. Maybe your bird is just starting to mature sexually but I do know that as the years go on, captive birds can over produce eggs and thats a bad thing......apparently.
These birds can lay the odd egg, but it won't be fertilised, so I'd just leave "mum" with it for a while. Awwww.......

why have you been 'owning' him for 2 tyears? Do you fight on a regular basis? If you want a break of owning him I could bring my puppy around to own it. I may need to learn my pupp a few more moves because of the parrots talons but she could easilly own it.

Hope this helps
