House Bunny Toilet Training Relapse!!!
4 Answers
Hi all,
I got a bunny about 3 weeks ago, and was amazed that she took to using a litter tray straight away. However, yesterday she started pooping and peeing all over the sofa and carpet and I was wondering what's gone wrong?? Any ideas?

younger buns are more difficult to train than adults, i expect is was just something new to try. a good tip is if they miss, to soak newspaper in the pee and put it in the litter tray with them so they can smell the pee in the tray and hopefully will connect it to being the place to pee.
my older buns are pretty well trained but if they get on teh sofa they will pee on there - just to spite me i think.
pooping is very difficult to control as usually they just poo as they go along, i've never met anyone who hasn't ended up hoovering the floors of brown marbles.
cleaner than guinea pigs though.
(the house rabbit handbook is the best book ever for this kind of stuff)

Ive had a house rabbit for 2years now and he is litterly like a dog! Everyone that comes over thinks its amazing!
It is still early days so he may have little accidents with weeing but he will gradually only use his tray or a particular place in his cage, BUT as for the Poo Pelts i think they are uncontrolable My bunny still poos everywhere! But his hard so its not to bad!
