Yeah, A succlent, free-range game bird, reared naturally in the countryside

OR

Road Kill.

You Decide!
Not a death wish, just not blessed with large brains. ....!!

I don't know how the law would see it but pheasant shooting ended on the first of Feb, so be a bit careful with any 'road kill'.

I know what you mean; I cringe every time I see one. Once a pheasant hopped off the pavement in front of me, but instead of running across the road like they usually do, he just ran up the edge of the kerb for ages and ages. I was scared to go past him because he would doubtless have decided that was a good time to cross the road, but it ws so funny to watch his little legs running like mad. I wasn't holding anybody up, btw, there was only me on the road, thank God, or I would have had to risk trying to go past him and the inevitable outcome.

They're a bloody nightmare lol.
I was once driving down a motorway when I saw a pheasant using a footbridge, presumably this one had been taught road sense!

They appear to be the suicide bombers of the bird world,
One once flew out in front of me and smashed my headlamp, I would not have minded but it was in town !!! I have never ever seen another one down town again since ....
