to much sleep

well not many answered my question on sleep, mabee everybody catching up on there sleep today lol

when i went to somebody's house earlier to pick something up, there was a few people there having a drink listening to music and having a really good time..... it made me feel quite jelly belly knowing i was just coming home to my 2 lovely kids and pussy cat..... i really wanted to get myself ready and join the party. has anybody else felt this way recently or are you quite content sitting in mabee having a wee dram and coming on AB while having a scoot at the tv??? they were just warming up ready to go out and i think i just realized ive being getting set in my ways on a sat night... either working or staying indoors... do you make the effort to go out with your mates weekend or are you just happy to spend time relaxing indoors?? any comments appreciated.......

Sad, I have a couple of girl friends, but when you get to that certain age, you'd rather stay in on your own.
I don't mind being on my own, as I know there are people who cannot bear to be on their own.
Some weekend, my friends come over and we drink well into the night or we meet up and go for a meal.

I live next door to my sister and brother in law. They go out every Sat night. I couldn't be bothered.

Double rum n coke and large wine is between �5.50 and � 8.00.

you know petal i do get free time to go out but mainly in the day time or before/after work... but tonight when i seen how much everybody was buzzing around having a great time before going out i thought, wow i wish i was joining them as i knew i was only going to be coming home to tidy up put kids to bed and come AB. ive not got a boring life but can"t remember the last time i was with my friends all getting ready listening to music having a drink and going out all night to have fun fun fun.... its like i wouldn"t have felt that way if i hadn"t been there for 5mins so its a true saying... you don"t miss what you don"t have unless its in your face. sound like a grumpy old woman but i just wanted to join in.

Oh - and hi funnygirl - and Hussy again (who I've left a message for!!). Well - I haven't been in a drinking mood. I don't drink a lot anyway, otherwise I embarrass myself and everyone around me!! I was the only one not drinking alcohol in our group, but I still enjoyed myself. Must say, it depends on where you go and the company you're in, doesn't it?
