Insect poo?

I keep finding little black circular marks on the lino in my porch. Is this insect poo? and, if so, which insect? Probably a beetle of some sort or maybe woodlice? I don't see them in the house on the kitchen lino. Please solve this mystery if you can.

I have problems with this type of mess and I'm pretty sure you can blame spiders. For sure it is spiders.

thanks scarlett1 I did wonder about spiders but wasn't sure as it was on the floor, you tend to think of them always being up on the walls or ceilings. Anyway thanks again for your reply.

They may well be on the ceiling but there's onl;y one direction their pp drops. I had a pet spider in my house, well in a corner and it did make quite a mess on the floor and the wall.
