My cat's dandruff

My Cat is black and 14 years old and seems to have developed dandruff (or equivalent) is this possible or am i going mad? he is also malting at an incredible rate, is this normal?

Try giving some oily fish such as pilchards in oil or tuna. Or else let him lick some vegetable oil or margerine off a spoon. This will help the condition of the coat particularly as he is moulting. You could try combing or brushing him if he will let you.

my 11 year old cat has the same problem i put her on a senior food and like the other post give her fish she loves sardins in tomato sauce it hasnt got rid of it but its better than before and brushing as she cant look after her self as well as she used to
