my dog has started peeing in the house

My 4 year old husky/lab cross bitch has started peeing in the house. Over the last 2 months she has done it 3 times. She just squats down and does a full blown pee, when we shout 'no' to her she either just carries on or runs to the back door peeing all the way. She has never done this before.

She may have a urine infection, ask your vets advice, try not to shout at her, if she is unwell she won't be able to help it.

could it be that dog is learning from observation?
it is immitating what it sees going on in the house.
try putting pampers or disposable knickers on it.

Don't know where you have sprung from Kuntrovert, but the first part of your name obviously describes you well. If you haven't got anything sensible to say, please don't say anything. People come on here genuinely worried about their pets, and your sort of answer is more suited to the loonies they get in Chatterbank. It is not appreciated, so Foxtrot Oscar.

My girl started doing this, she was also drinking more. After just a couple of days of this I took her to the vet's after blood test she was diagnosed with diabetes. I inject her with caninsulin twice a day and feed her a special diet. She still sometimes has an accident but she has gone blind and she gets disorientated. If you have a previously clean dog there is something wrong if they start peeing in the house. Please take her to the vet for a check-up

My cross staffie bitch also started to do this every now and again we found out she had a cold. :)

Me to Mumbo I've just started using site again.....prats like gravitate and the k person are sad gits with nothing better to do. The serious postings are very often really helpful
