Hi all, dont know if you can help me, but i am trying to think of a name for a kitten we are picking up in a few weeks time and havent had much luck. He is a blue Burmese and probably going to be quite bold (as most Burmese are). I have three other cats called Winston, Jasper and Bula and am looking for an unusual name that doesnt sound so daft that i am embarrassed to call him in at night but something that sets him apart from the rest - perhaps oriental. Thanks in advance.

i can heartily recommend the name Iggy!
Noodle?
Tasha, or if every other name you think of fails, name it Kitty!
Blue Burmese are beautiful, intelligent and handsome cats so he deserves a really superior name that can be shortened for family use. My best friend recently had to have her Blue Burmese put to sleep. He was 17. His name was Samuel. Not very oriental. How about looking here: http://plumblossom.topcities.com/burma.htm I rather like San Yu or Kala Byan. Good Luck.
How about Lu-Thor Destroyer of Mice or Zor-Gon the Night Stalker?
Thompson. San.
We had a Russian Blue cat for 13 years, until she had to be put to sleep due to cancer of the knee joint. Her name was 'Smudge' & she was the most, loving adorable, placid cat you could ever wish to own. (Hence my AB name).
There's a black panther in Vienna Zoo called Yoshi. I always thought if I had a male black/blue cat I'd call him Yoshi. Prenounced Y0-she.
BLUE?
Sushi?
Nelson.
How about Ceefer?
Sumo?
2 for Trekkies: Tribble (which is the name of my tortie tabby) or Spock (my friend's cat, on account of it has pointy ears...) And I've never called my cats by name, I make a noise like a mouse and they come running. I've traiend them by making the noise every time I feed them - cats are trainable, just incredibly lazy. A tip - call the cat something unpronounceable so you don't end up embarrassed if your vet, like mine, insists on calling you in by your pet's name. I saw a burly bloke last time having to answer to the name of Fluffy Roberts.
How about Astrophe or Aclysm. I did hear about someone who called theirs Seefor. (Gets the little grey cells working if nothing else!)
Personally I like the name Lin, or even Moto :D then u can go "hello, Moto" when u see him!!!
How about "Kaylah"...
I had a friend who called his cat "Guess".. Had a lot of fun when people asked for the cats name. I would sugest you look to the Hindu gods, like Siva, the god of destruction or Saraswathi the godess of wisdom.
yuki-signs kind of catty. Or Dave. It's up to you really.
zues?
