Are you anywhere near Lewes In a pickle ?
We get lots of bloody Herons because our garden backs onto the floodplains in Lewes. Cuckoos and woodpeckers are plentiful as are all the common garden birds.
However, a few years ago, a little egret came and landed in the garden i look after at work. Didn't stay long as the crows chased it away.

My dad has lots of those green parrots that got released accidently in Richmond (I think) in his garden and I saw a hedgehog and a little frog in the garden at my previous place. There was also a koi (is that right? the fish in ponds?) in the back garden recently but I suspect the cat may have had something to do with that!
I had a cow in my garden once! I had a knock on the door one evening and there was this rather out of breath policeman there to say that he had chased this cow up my road and into my garden. It was quite comical because there were two police cars and a rapid response ambulance blocking my drive to keep th poor thing in.
Other than that I have had deer, squirrels, foxes, rabbits and rats! Loads of different birds too.
